Autos of Dallas - Terms of Sale

We are a full service dealership and these cars are offered for sale to our local customers.

Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel bids, or end auctions at anytime;

should the car be sold locally, or through other marketing methods.

Auction Terms

Best Offer

Only submit a Best Offer when you’re serious about purchasing this vehicle. 

Like the Bids made on auction-style listings, your Offer is binding. 

If your Offer is accepted, you are obligated to pay for the vehicle. 

We have 48 hours to accept your best offer.

If and when we receive multiple offers we will accept the highest Best Offer.

Offers are also welcomed by phone.

Auction Payment Terms

Please contact us within 24 hours of the closing of an auction.

A (non-refundable) $400.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction closing.

Balance is due in full (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of auction end.

No Vehicle will be released, for Pickup, Shipping, or Delivery until Balance is fully funded. 

If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle,

sell it to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise.

Payment Methods

Most banks and credit unions have restrictions on the vehicles they want to finance.

Make sure if financing, that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding.

Please arrange financing prior to bidding.

Autos of Dallas reserves the right to cancel any contract until full payment is received.

The following methods of payment are accepted. Cash (in person), bank to bank wire transfer,

certified funds (cashier's check, money order), Visa, MasterCard, or Institutional Financing.

We are not a Franchise Dealer therefore we do not accept Franchise-Dealer ONLY Checks.

Fees & Taxes

All sales are subject to a $100.00 dealer service fee, $50.00 document fee,

and a Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax* based at 0.002431 of the purchase price.

Texas residents pay 6.25% sales tax, registration fee of $85.80, and Inspection fee of $40.50

The State in which you reside MAY add additional fees which we are unaware of, and do not include.

You are responsible for all fees, which your State, or County, Etc. may require.

* Example $10,000.00 purchase = $24.31

Shipping & Delivery

Autos of Dallas will be glad to help Buyer schedule Shipping, or Delivery of any vehicle purchased.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, fees, and liability; we recommend you thoroughly inspect your vehicle before signing acceptance paperwork.

Autos of Dallas will be responsible for NO costs, damage, or unforseen problems once the vehicle has left our control.

Buyer will be entering into a Contract outside of the scope of Autos of Dallas' Liability,

with the Delivery/Shipper they contract with.

Conditions & Quarantee by Seller

We try to describe our vehicles in detail, with a great amount of high resolution pictures.

However, please understand these vehicles are pre-owned, not brand new!

Any used vehicle, may have minor cosmetic flaws which become visible upon closer inspection.

Please have your scheduled inspection completed prior to bidding.

Pre-sale inspections are welcomed, and encouraged; we do NOT recommend ANY inspector to remove all suspicion.

Please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures before placing a bid, if there is a question, CALL!

Autos of Dallas makes every attempt to provide our clients with keys, manuals, NAV CDs, floor mats etc.

Vehicles may be missing items, and we do NOT guarantee that they will be included in the vehicle at the time of sale.

Mileage at the time of delivery may be slightly higher due to test drives.

Warranty

All of our vehicles are pre-owned vehicles and they are sold as “ AS IS / WHERE IS” condition.

As required by Federal & State Law an AS-IS Buyer’s Guide well be included in you sales documents.

AS-IS means exactly THAT there is no liability to Autos of Dallas.

Extended Warranties which cover your vehicle purchase, will cover most problems which can arise in used vehicles.

Extended Warranties are carried by a multitude of Third Party Companies with no affiliation to Autos of Dallas.

LEGAL NOTICE

You are entering a legal binding contract, all verbal contracts, claims, or promises are superseeded by:

the printed contracts, in connection with the terms listed here, website, and paperwork.

Your bid or offer to buy and/or purchase constitutes your acceptance of the above terms and conditions.

If you are not sure about something, Please ask! Do not assume anything not explicitly listed is included.

All obligations pursuant to this contract shall be performable in Dallas County, Texas.

The vehicle shall be delivered in Dallas County, Texas and all obligations of Purchaser to pay for the vehicle shall be payable in Dallas County, Texas.

It is agreed by all parties in relation to any transaction involving this vehicle that the proper venue for any legal proceedings will be conducted in Dallas County, Texas.
